Microprocessor based cryostat microtome with temperature range from 0 to -40 degree C, range of width of section: 2-20 micron fitted with a range of razor for cutting of specimen.
Pre-incubation of specimen at -40oC. It provides a rapid and easy means for the sectioning of natural tissue from 2 to 20 microns in step of 2 microns without distortion for high quality microscopic examination.
Sections have the high resolution of cytological details required for pathological diagnosis, histochemistry, fluorescence, biochemistry, microscopy etc.
Cryostat Microtomes are used for sectioning fresh frozen tissues and other materials which are suitable for sectioning

Working Principal

Cryostat Microtomes are motorized or manual cryostat microtomes with retraction that incorporates a unique refrigeration system for independent specimen and knife cooling.

Applications

For preparation of fine sections of leaf, stem and other tissues at 2-20 micron thickness for observation under microscope for pathological, biochemical, histochemical, etc. studies in research
