The ICAR-DGR organized Mahila Kisan Diwas on 15^th October 2020. On this occasion we have distributed farming kits (One Srpay Pump, One grain storage box, one tarpaulin and a water jug) to woman farmers. Woman farmers from Galivada village of Junagadh district had participated in this programme. Considering restrictions on gathering, only 6 farmers were invited. During this programme Director, DGR and DGR women employee also distributed some useful materials related to agriculture and also given information on groundnut packages and practices. On this occasion this Directorate also organized a quiz competition entitled is “Role of Women in Agriculture, Societal Empowerment, Nutrition and Income Generation”. A total 33 staff members including 10 women had participated in this programme.
