DGR was awarded ?Oustanding Partnership Award? by ICRISAT, Hyderabad on 01 December 2009. Groundnut is mandate crop of the institute and several new technologies and varieties have been developed through collaboration between DGR and ICRISAT. The award comes in recognition of this active collaboration.
Dr. K. Chakraborty received ?Young Scientist Award? in National seminar on ?Sustainable crop productivity through physiological intervention? at Ramnarain Ruia College, Mumbai (November 24-26, 2011) from Indian Society for Plant Physiology (ISPP), IARI, New Delhi.
Dr Radhakrishnan T. (Principal Scientist) received ?Award of Excellence in Plant Biotechnology? by the Society for Applied Biotechnology during International Conference on Biotechnology, Bioinformatics and Bioengineering at Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, India on 29 June 2013.
